Continuous Improvement Engineer

The Role

This role is essential in driving operational excellence through lean practices, data-driven problem solving, and the implementation of 5S and other continuous improvement methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Lead and facilitate CI initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Champion 5S implementation and sustainment across manufacturing areas to promote workplace organization, safety, and efficiency.
  • Analyze production workflows and metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S principles to optimize manufacturing processes and layouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Develop and deliver training on CI tools including 5S, root cause analysis, and visual management.
  • Track and report KPIs to measure the impact of CI efforts and drive accountability.
  • Support new product introductions by designing efficient and scalable production systems.
  • All other duties assigned

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
