Full Job Description
We are seeking a full-time optometrist to join our nationally recognized and award-winning Mercy Eye Specialists in Springfield, MO providing medical, perioperative and disease management of both anterior and posterior segment of the eye. An ideal candidate will have superb refracting, slit lamp and indirect ophthalmoscopy skills, an interest in outcome analysis and research, and extensive medical eye care knowledge. A Mercy Eye Specialists provider will consistently interface with patients, surgeons, and need to possess effective communication skills. A passion for education is highly desired. Our eye care team in Springfield consists of nine ophthalmologists. Retina, cornea, refractive, and pediatric subspecialties are all well-represented. Strong growth is projected over the next three to five years. Mercy Clinic Eye Specialists - Ophthalmology - E.
