Position Overview

Sowash Practices is seeking skilled and patient-focused Optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision exams, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular conditions. Ideal candidates are committed to delivering high-quality care, building strong patient relationships, and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases
  • Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing refractive surgery
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EHR
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Stay current with advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education
