Optometrist Full-timeMedford, ORPosition OverviewSowash Practices is seeking skilled and patient-focused Optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision exams, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular conditions. Ideal candidates are committed to delivering high-quality care, building strong patient relationships, and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases
- Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing refractive surgery
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EHR
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Stay current with advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education
Qualifications- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active state optometry license in good standing
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
