Full Job Description
Located in San Francisco, California, Looksie Optometry is seeking a full-time Associate Optometrist to join a growing, patient-focused practice with plans to expand its doctor team, enhance its IPL/RF dry eye clinic, and continue building its presence across the Peninsula and Bay Area. The practice specializes in quality eyewear, modern technology, and concierge-style doctor-patient care, creating an opportunity for an optometrist who wants to be part of a forward-thinking team committed to personalized service and continued growth.

What you'll do:
As a full-time Associate Optometrist, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern practice environment, working 36 hours per week and seeing approximately 10 to 12 patients per day. You’ll perform comprehensive eye exams, manage ongoing patient care, communicate thoughtfully with patients, and complete accurate charting to support a seamless care experience. You’ll also support specialty contact lens needs, including ordering trial and specialty lenses, while using advanced diagnostic and clinical technology such as OPTOS, OCT, keratometry/topography, virtual visual field, iCare tonometry, an auto-phoropter, lensometry, EHR, auto-refraction, and meibography to guide personalized treatment plans and deliver an elevated patient experience.

Who you are:

You’re a compassionate, dedicated optometrist who is committed to delivering exceptional eye care and supporting the vision health of the community. Confident in caring for patients across a variety of visual needs and age groups, you bring a proactive, hardworking, and team-oriented approach to every interaction. You’re enthusiastic about staying current with advancements in optometry, embracing personalized treatment plans, and providing patient-centered care that supports the continued growth and reputation of the practice. In this collaborative environment, you’ll work alongside team members to deliver seamless care, foster a positive workplace culture, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.

Why you'll love San Francisco:
Living and working in San Francisco offers an exciting blend of iconic city energy, historic charm, and everyday convenience. Located near the Financial District and Nob Hill, this area places you close to the heart of the city’s business community while surrounding you with classic San Francisco character—from cable cars and landmark architecture to scenic views, celebrated restaurants, and vibrant neighborhood amenities. The Financial District offers easy access to offices, shops, dining, and public transit, while nearby Nob Hill brings a more residential feel with beautiful streetscapes, cultural landmarks, and inviting green spaces like Huntington Park. Whether you’re exploring local cafés, enjoying the city’s rich history, or taking in views of the bay, San Francisco provides a dynamic and rewarding lifestyle in one of the country’s most distinctive urban settings.

You’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • Medical insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Continuing education allowance
  • 401(k)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Optometry license in California
