What You'll Do:
You'll practice full-scope optometry to the fullest extent of your license in this full-time, 40-hour per week position. The practice is equipped with advanced technology, including OCT, Virtual fields, RETeval, Eidon UWF, auto-phoropters, auto-refractors, pachymetry, and topography. Your role will involve treating a variety of ocular diseases, especially within the older population. You'll typically perform 15 routine exams per day, plus medical exams as needed. You'll be supported by a strong team of eight staff members and three doctors.
Who You Are:
You’re a well-rounded, compassionate, Optometrist with strong clinical acumen necessary for success in a dynamic primary eye care setting. Beyond your foundational expertise, the ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed to care for patients of all ages and effectively explain diagnoses and treatment plans. A proactive approach to patient education, combined with a genuine commitment to providing friendly care, is highly valued.
