What you'll do:
As the newest member of our team, you'll work 30 to 40 hours weekly and perform comprehensive eye examinations, recommend eyewear, and determine contact lens prescriptions-the practice is open Monday through Saturday. You'll enjoy caring for patients in a modernized practice with access to behind-the-scenes functional technology, including Optomap (retinal scanning), OCT (retinal scanning), FDT (visual field testing), Pentacam (advanced scanning of corneal topography), EnChroma (color vision technology), and auto-refractors-plus, highly-trained staff to support you throughout examinations.

Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFM)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFM), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
