Job DescriptionThe Operations Program Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the model shop and
manufacturing support environment, ensuring production priorities, customer requirements, and program schedules
are successfully executed. This role acts as the primary operational liaison between manufacturing, engineering,
program management, planning, supply chain, and leadership teams.
This position is on 1st shift working a 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday.The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background with experience coordinating high-mix, low-volume
machined hardware, managing production flow, supporting quoting activities, and driving on-time delivery in a
fast-paced aerospace and defense environment.
This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple
priorities while supporting operational execution across several active programs simultaneously.

Required Skills and Education- 5+ years of manufacturing or machining experience within a production environment.
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, manufacturing flow, and operational coordination.
Preferred Skills and Education- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting rapid-turn prototype or model shop operations.
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense manufacturing standards and customer expectations.
- Experience supporting hiring activities and workforce development.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting customer demands simultaneously.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, program management, planning, and supply chain teams.
- Strong communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Oracle and manufacturing tracking systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, machining processes, and manufacturing requirements.
- Experience supporting quoting, workload tracking, and operational metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership experience supporting or leading manufacturing personnel.
