DescriptionGPI is seeking an Operations Manager shall report to the Traffic Management Center on a daily basis and will report directly to the County's Project Manager. The Operations Manager may be required to perform some field work, attend meetings, or visit other remote Traffic Management facilities.
The Operations Manager will be given workspace and a computer. Work schedule must be flexible, but the normal assigned work schedule will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including 1 hour lunch break), Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

Responsibilities:- Work performed shall include the daily supervision of Operations at the Traffic Management Center.
- Review of Traffic Signal Timing modifications
- Database Management
- Traffic Management Policies and Procedure
- Assist with IT administrative tasks
- Personnel Training
- Website and social media
- Public Information and Municipal Liaison
- Various administrative tasks assigned by the County's Project Manager
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field being common.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in operations or management.
- Ability to convey instruction and provide training in a classroom type environment.
- Ability to create lesson plans and power point presentations for training staff
- Knowledge of network architecture and must possess basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of traffic signal timing, time space diagrams and signal progressions.
- Ability to interact with and provide direction to subordinates.
- Ability to perform and supervise various administrative activities.
RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
- Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
- Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
