Full Job Description
As Operations Technician I/II/III, youll perform a variety of tasks, including reading and interpreting drawings, supporting pipeline operations, safely maintaining facility equipment and analyzing data to resolve technical and operational problems. Knowledge of permits and compliance, accurate record-keeping and a focus on safety will bring success in this role! Responsibilities/Expectations: 37Performs various tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements37Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems37Follows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures37Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets37Maintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance37Completes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment37Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: 37Required: High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role37Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry37We welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences - if you dont meet every qualification, this role may be filled at a level that aligns with your skills and growth potential Physical and Environment Work Requirements: Must be willing to: 37Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces37Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed37Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time37Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)37Use hand tools Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements: 37Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises37May be required to work overtime and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays37Current schedule is Monday through Friday; however, it may be subject to change based on future business needs Other Requirements: 37Must possess valid State Drivers License and clean driving record37Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes37Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority37Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers Hourly/Salary Guidelines: (Minimum, Midpoint, Maximum) $28 - $41 - $55 We invest in our people in ways that actually show up in your day-to-day, not just on paper.
