Full Job Description
The Operations and Middle Office organization is responsible for delivering the infrastructure, governance, and operational capabilities that support the firm's global business activities. The team works across business lines to enhance operating models, strengthen risk management practices, and create scalable solutions that improve transparency and execution.

The Product Management and Platforms function serves as a bridge between business users, technology teams, and control partners. This team drives the development and optimization of operational capabilities by managing reporting frameworks, platform enhancements, data solutions, and governance processes that support effective decision-making.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to Operations leadership and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving workflows, controls, reporting capabilities, and operational effectiveness.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives involving business teams, technology partners, risk functions, and external providers, ensuring alignment from initial concept through final delivery.
  • Translate business needs into actionable solutions by defining requirements, coordinating implementation efforts, tracking progress, and managing risks or obstacles throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and enhance management information tools, performance reporting, and analytics solutions that provide insight into operational health, productivity, service levels, exceptions, trade activity, and control effectiveness.
  • Leverage operational data to uncover patterns, assess process performance, highlight emerging risks, and deliver recommendations that support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the firm's governance framework through development of operating procedures, control documentation, oversight materials, escalation processes, and monitoring routines.
  • Coordinate enterprise reconciliation activities, support audit and regulatory engagements, and ensure accurate documentation and timely responses for control-related requests.
  • Serve as a business owner for critical operational applications by evaluating functionality, prioritizing enhancements, partnering with technology teams, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, advanced analytics, and technology-enabled solutions using tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and other data platforms.
Required Background

  • Background working with operational risk, controls, reporting, process optimization, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience developing analytics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that support management decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze complex operational information, identify root causes, and recommend improvements that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience preparing executive-level presentations, governance materials, and operational updates.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, or BusinessObjects; SQL proficiency required, with Python experience preferred.
