Operations Project Manager

We are looking for an Operations Project Manager. This position will be based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

You will lead a highly visible, complex operations project supporting a major Siemens Electrical Products initiative. This role will coordinate multiple workstreams across construction, manufacturing startup, supply chain, SAP systems, production equipment, workforce planning, digital infrastructure, budget management, and stakeholder communication. Strong project management leadership, disciplined execution, and the ability to drive schedules, resources, financial controls, and risk mitigation will be critical to success.

You'll make a difference by:
  • Leading a high-visibility operations project in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with ownership of resources, schedules, planning activities, execution efforts, and project outcomes.
  • Coordinating multiple workstreams across construction, Siemens Real Estate, procurement, supply chain development, SAP systems, master data, production equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, factory and warehouse layout, IT, and digital infrastructure.
  • Driving operational startup and production ramp-up plans, including hourly and salary workforce planning, hiring, training, equipment readiness, material deliveries, and site coordination.
  • Creating and managing project timelines, budgets, forecasts, activity lists, financial controls, cost tracking, stakeholder reporting, and budget reconciliation support.
  • Communicating project progress, risks, decisions, and priorities through regular meetings, documentation, platform reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder updates.
  • Serving as the escalation point for complex issues while developing risk mitigation plans that support project delivery, timeline performance, and budget goals.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to resolve high-impact, cross-functional challenges while complying with Siemens policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with the following:
    • Project management leadership for complex, high-impact operations, construction, manufacturing, production, or facility startup projects.
    • Managing project resources, schedules, planning activities, execution efforts, timelines, budgets, forecasts, financial controls, and project cost management.
    • Coordinating multiple workstreams across internal teams, external partners, contractors, procurement, supply chain, SAP systems, production equipment, IT, and digital infrastructure.
    • Applying project management concepts, risk mitigation, issue escalation, stakeholder communication, documentation, and progress reporting to deliver project outcomes.
    • Demonstrating leadership, accountability, critical thinking, organizational discipline, and effective communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to be present on site, particularly during execution and construction, with required work travel. Some virtual or remote work may be possible during the planning phase.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Greenfield project experience, facility launch experience, or experience leading significant portions of large-scale project launches.
  • Experience within factory operations, manufacturing operations, production environments, operational startup activities, or production ramp-up planning.
  • Industry exposure to switchgear, switchboards, circuit breakers, power distribution equipment, suppliers, contractors, equipment manufacturers, general contractors, or subcontractors.
  • PMP or other project management certification; demonstrated successful project execution may be considered in place of certification.
  • Strong resourcefulness, results orientation, accountability, communication, and ability to identify complex problems, analyze options, and implement practical solutions.

The pay range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
