Operations, Planning and Fulfillment Manager
Henderson, NV

The Operations, Planning and Fulfillment Manager will provide leadership in the order management and master data aspects of the supply chain. The Manager will directly oversee the order processing and shipments of all direct-to-consumer D-Commerce and third-party customer orders.

Results-oriented manager will drive activities to provide superior guest and customer service, highest quality order preparation, efficient order management, timely shipment and increased customer satisfaction metrics working with Customers, Sales and Supply.

The Associate will lead a team of exempt and non-exempt (50+ in total seasonally). In this role, the associate will also be responsible in optimizing internal business processes, select co-packing of finished goods, enabling technologies, and driving Associate engagement.

What are we looking for?

Minimum:
  • 3-5 years experience in Logistics or Supply Chain management or related field.
  • 2 years within leadership role (i.e. coaching, training, etc.)
  • Ability to influence associates internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects and processes within a complex supply chain environment.
  • Direct to consumer fulfillment and/or logistics and supply chain experience.
  • Continuous improvement mindset - process optimization
  • Negotiating skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Discretion to handle sensitive customer issues.
  • Experience using SAP, FedEx, Amazon, Freight and Logistics, Quality Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety


Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Continuous Improvement and sustainble sourcing of supplies
  • Experience in factory manufacturing and/or co-packing.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Manage/oversee Master Data Specialist responsible for all Ethel M Chocolates, EGM site and American Heritage Chocolate item set-ups and maintenance
  • Manage/oversee Fulfillment Specialist and fulfillment Supervisor Associates
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of exempt and non-exempt associates to drive outstanding guest and customer service.
  • Drive highest quality direct-to-consumer order preparation, including custom chocolate box assembly.
  • Long term strategic planning of logistics to support digital and wholesale growth efficiently and profitably including physical infrastructure and additional points of distribution.
  • Complete annual Quality (LR) audits with no major findings.
  • Source, purchase and manage inventory of all supplies related to packing and shipping.
  • Budget, plan, hire and manage seasonal contractors for peak holiday season.
  • Manage the build of subassemblies for the retail business, including bundles and select finished goods.


  • Manage the execution of custom orders for B2B and key internal stakeholders.
  • Manage third-party retail orders, freight quotes and logistics for large orders within budget.
  • Share results and other key performance indicators (KPI's) with Customer Logistics Managers and sales account teams on a periodic basis.
  • Manage (in collaboration with other functional areas) short supply situations and product allocation processes.
  • Monitor and manage business and Associate performance metrics and progress against standards.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to enhance Associate performance.
  • Create and support long-term development plans for all Associates to prepare individuals for new responsibilities and enhanced performance in their current responsibilities.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
