Title: Operations Planner
Location: Oxford, MS

Salary: $90,000+ depending upon experience

Focus: The Operations Planner is responsible for coordinating and managing production schedules, materials, and inventory to ensure manufacturing operations run efficiently and meet business demands.

Operations Planner Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop daily and long-term schedules based upon plant capacity and review with marketing and Operations Leadership.
  • Participate in daily scheduling meetings to monitor production; Escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Troubleshoot inventory issues leading to potential stock outs and communication with appropriate personnel.
  • Work closely with purchasing agents and outside packaging vendors to ensure on-time delivery of purchased raw materials, as well as with Product Management to help set priorities.
  • Use SAP and other programs to schedule production and material; Order finished good packaging in accordance with daily packing schedules.
  • Communicate verbal/written data analysis to executives and peers.
  • Align product schedules/plan to strategic initiatives.


Operations Planner Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree* ; Bachelor's Degree* preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Planning role.
  • Demonstrated experience using SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior Winchester experience in a relevant position preferred.

Location-Specific Requirements:
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.


*Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university.
