Full Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for the management of all operations for install and service for the assigned territory. These responsibilities include the following:
Estimated Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities
What you will do:
• Plan, assign, and oversee installation and Service department's workflow.
• Review & report on department metrics
• Schedule of installation costs, production reports & installation lead times
• Ensure best-in-class quality standards via site visits, location inspections and customer meetings.
• Review & update standard operating procedures to insure efficiencies and professional customer service.
• Drive system enhancements to promote productivity and customer service.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to align procedures.
• Lead team to maximize first-time fix rates and minimize return calls
• responsible for Install, & repairs of washers, dryers, & ancillary equipment in the field, in strict accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the company
• Coordinate ongoing training efforts of the service team, ensuring that all service technicians possess a current knowledge of all equipment in the field
• Drive departmental initiatives to promote productivity and high-quality customer service
• Performance management including training, coaching, performance reviews, & disciplinary action
• Resolve escalated customer concerns, while identifying and implementing root-cause resolutions
• Ensure safe work practices
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
• Five Years of previous experience as a service supervisor is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Management courses and seminars a plus.
• Must be an effective, motivational leader.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must also possess a keen technological aptitude to quickly gain familiarity with, and operate within, custom software applications specific to WASH.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, email correspondence, and procedural manuals using concise, correct grammar.
• Ability to effectively respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, & customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Valid driver's license required.
