Full Job Description
Are you a scheduling pro who loves turning complex moving pieces into a well-oiled machine? We're looking for a strategic, organized, and solutions-focused Director of Scheduling to lead and optimize scheduling operations across the organization.

In this role, you'll play a key part in making sure our clients receive consistent, high-quality services while our clinical teams have the coverage and support they need to succeed. You'll lead scheduling strategy, processes, systems, and team performance while partnering closely with Clinical and Operations leadership to keep everything running smoothly.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the organization's overall scheduling strategy, operations, and team performance
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve scheduling processes, workflows, standards, and best practices
  • Ensure client schedules are appropriately staffed and aligned with clinical needs
  • Monitor capacity, utilization, coverage, cancellations, and scheduling gaps to identify opportunities and address challenges
  • Analyze scheduling data and trends to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery
  • Partner with Clinical and Operations leadership to anticipate staffing needs and proactively address scheduling challenges
  • Establish and track KPIs and performance expectations, providing leadership with actionable insights
  • Lead, coach, and support scheduling team members while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
  • Troubleshoot complex scheduling issues and coordinate solutions across teams
  • Support the implementation, optimization, and effective use of scheduling technology and systems
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure scheduling practices are consistent, accurate, and aligned with company policies

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling, workforce management, operations, or a related field
  • Experience managing or leading a scheduling team
  • Strong understanding of workforce scheduling, capacity planning, and utilization
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to turn data and trends into practical, actionable solutions
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable working with scheduling software, databases, and operational systems
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or another service-based environment strongly preferred
  • A leadership style that combines accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
