Operations Manager – Pahrump Valley Disposal
📍 Pahrump, NV
🕒 Monday–Friday | 45–50 hrs/week (can fluctuate based on needs of the site)
💰 $95,000–$105,000 base + 15% cash + 15% equity bonus
What You’ll Do
As an Operations Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day hauling, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and toilet service operations while developing your leadership team and driving performance across safety, service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise hourly employees and frontline supervisors at our hauling site, landfill, metal yard, MRF, and portable toilet service.
- Monitor routes and staffing; adjust resources in real time to meet service demands
- Partner with the Site Manager on budgeting and P&L performance
- Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of frontline leaders
- Assist in creating/managing policies and procedures
- Conduct field inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance and best practices
- Handle and resolve customer escalations with professionalism and urgency
- Overseeenvironmental, OSHA, and local regulatory compliance
- Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals
- Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-heavy environment
- Proven ability to manage large teams and shifting priorities
- Experience with operations, logistics, or field-based teams
- Exposure to budgeting or P&L management
- Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Excel and business systems
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Willingness to relocate for advancement opportunities
