Full Job Description
J&W Heating and Air is looking for a driven Operations Manager to help lead the next phase of growth for our HVAC and Plumbing divisions. This is a high-impact leadership role working directly with executive leadership to drive performance, build elite teams, and scale operations across our service area.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Driving Growth & Performance - Partner with executive leadership to execute growth initiatives across HVAC and Plumbing operations. Help expand market reach, increase capacity, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Building a High-Performance Sales Culture - Coach and develop field technicians and team leaders to maximize technician productivity, increase revenue per call, and grow service agreement memberships.
  • Operational Excellence - Lead daily field performance across service, sales, and operations to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, customers are thrilled with the experience, and teams are operating at a high level.
  • Developing Great Leaders - Recruit, mentor, and develop managers and team leaders while building a strong leadership bench for the future of the company.
  • Performance & Accountability - Track and improve key performance metrics including revenue, margins, customer satisfaction, productivity, and job completion rates. Identify opportunities and implement solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Standardizing Best Practices - Help implement and reinforce best practices across the organization including sales process, technician development, customer experience, and operational systems.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration - Work closely with finance, marketing, HR, and leadership to ensure the field team has the tools, support, and strategy needed to succeed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5-10 years in home service operations leadership
  • Experience managing multi-trade operations (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of technician sales performance and operational KPIs
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred
