Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all daily manufacturing operations. This role provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence, on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The Operations Manager drives performance across production, workforce development, and process efficiency while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and quality.

Requirements
- Provide leadership and direction to production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and all applicable regulatory and contractual requirements
- Oversee daily operations including production scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leads to strengthen leadership capability and succession planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, process standardization)
- Implement and maintain effective training programs to ensure workforce competency and adaptability to process changes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR to support operational goals
- Ensure effective communication across shifts and departments to maintain alignment and operational continuity
- Represent the organization professionally with customers, auditors, and external stakeholders as required
- Lead by example in demonstrating company values, ethical standards, and commitment to excellence
Knowledge, skills, and abilities- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience in a precision manufacturing environment)
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in aerospace, defense, power generation or other highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and achieve measurable results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organization
- Experience in production planning, capacity management, and resource allocation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience navigating OEM requirements, particularly as they relate to the manufacturing and quality standards for engine components.
Salary Description
$95,000 - $105,000 per year
