NewCold is seeking an experienced Operations Manager tolead warehouse operations at our McDonough facility. This role is responsiblefor driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, meetingcustomer expectations, and maintaining a strong culture of safety, quality, andcontinuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a proven operations leader withexperience in warehousing or logistics who thrives in a fast-paced environmentand is passionate about developing people and improving performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop warehouse operations teams to achieve safety, quality, service, and productivity goals
- Ensure daily operations are executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and customer requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement action plans to achieve performance targets.
- Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Manage labor resources and payroll costs while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular team meetings, shift handovers, and performance discussions.
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping, quality, and operational standards.
- Partner with site leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate performance results to leadership.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of operational leadership experience.
- Experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and labor planning.
