  • JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
    • Job Summary:
      • Management and oversight of clinical documentation integrity, denials, and appeals teams. Identify and implement performance improvement projects to improve processes and clinical documentation required to meet quality and financial goals
    • Education:
      • Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Coding or Nursing.
    • Registration/Certification/Licensure:
      • Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist and/or Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner preferred.
    • Experience:
        • 5 to 10 years of Clincial Documentation Intergrity experience required.
        • 5 or more years of progressive supervisory or management experience preferred.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
      • Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills necessary to effectively complete position requirements.
      • Demonstrated professionalism in effectively communicating with customers and in promoting a positive service atmosphere.
      • Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment producing quality work.
      • Ability to form collaborative relationships and promote teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
      • Ability to organize and perform work responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
      • Ability to design and implement performance improvement projects.
      • Ability to work remotely with minimal oversight.
      • Maintains strict patient confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
