Job Title
Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you will support payment facilitator and marketplace registration activity on behalf of clients by coordinating submissions, reviews, renewals, and issue resolution across internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with sales, compliance, card brands, acquiring banks, sponsor banks, and clients to help maintain accurate registrations, meet service levels, and support ongoing operational compliance.

What you'll do:
  • Manage payment facilitator and marketplace registration activities for clients, including reviewing requests, researching requirements, and coordinating submissions, follow-up actions, and escalations
  • Partner with sales, compliance, card brands, acquiring banks, sponsor banks, and clients to gather required information and documentation needed to complete registrations and annual reviews
  • Complete annual reviews for registered and approved payment facilitators and support yearly audits across sponsor banks
  • Monitor registration status, non-compliance activities, and reporting requirements, and provide updates to internal teams and external partners as needed
  • Research incoming inquiries and respond within defined service level agreement (SLA) timeframes
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and ad hoc meetings and client calls related to potential registrations, new registrations, monitoring activity, and escalated issues
  • Review card brand rules and internal procedures, identify gaps, and update process documentation and reference materials to improve accuracy and consistency

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 6+ years of experience in payments, merchant acquiring, compliance operations, risk operations, or registration operations supporting client-facing processes
  • 6+ years of experience working with card brand rules, sponsor bank requirements, acquiring bank processes, or payment facilitator registration activities
  • 6+ years of experience researching operational issues, managing escalations, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet defined service level agreement (SLA) requirements
  • Experience preparing reporting, maintaining procedures, and supporting audits, annual reviews, or compliance monitoring activities
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across sales, compliance, banking partners, clients, and external organizations
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, operations, compliance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience supporting payment facilitator (PFAC) or marketplace registration programs
  • Experience working directly with card brands, acquiring banks, or sponsor banks
  • Experience in merchant services, payments operations, or financial services compliance
  • Experience using case management, workflow, or reporting tools to track registration and review activity


How you'll work:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.


Travel: This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).

Salary Range:
$75,000.00-$108,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
