We're Hiring:Operations Manager๐ Role Overview:Under the general direction of Managing Director, operates, improves, and effectively manages a unit responsible for selling and delivering specified services.
Responsibilities - Provides direction and supervision to Team Managers.
- Assists Managing Director in development of sales plan and coordinates local sales efforts with national and regional sales plans.
- Directs sales solicitation activities of Team Manager personnel.
- Recruits, selects, orients, hires, coaches, counsels, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of service hub employees.
- Encourages and monitors compliance with continuing professional education of service center personnel.
- Insures personnel records of employees are maintained in accordance with corporate policies.
- Maintains product quality through compliance with service standards and client instructions.
- Completes file re-inspections and audits as requested
- Monitors and improves efficiency of unit operations.
- Assists Managing Director in establishing business plan and budget for unit.
- Ensures timely closing and billing of files.
- Monitors both billed and unbilled inventory to meet business unit DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) objectives.
- Participates in industry organizations and functions and upholds image of corporation.
- Stays abreast of changes in industry.
- Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
- Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.
Qualifications - College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience delivering the services and/or supervising the delivery of services offered by the branch office; previous management experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage, supervise, and develop employees.
- Thorough knowledge of services being delivered by branch office.
- Personal computer skills.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Position must be based in the same location as the AVP Managing Director.
- Annual minimum revenue threshold of 7.0 million.
- Appropriate compliment of management and staff.
- A willingness to relocate.
- Must have valid drivers license; maintenance of adjuster's license. Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services and jurisdiction of branch office.
- A variable schedule including on-call may be required. Depending on case load you may be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
- Travel may be required during/outside of normal business hours when necessary.

- The Pay Range/Salary represents the anticipated low and high pay that may be offered for this position. To determine the actual offer, Crawford considers a wide range of factors including the candidate's previous experience and education, market rates, minimum pay requirements for the applicable jurisdiction, business segment, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
