The RoleVision for the Operations Manager RoleComp Sci High is seeking a highly organized, solutions-oriented, and mission-driven Operations Manager to support the daily functioning of the school. This role is ideal for a strong school operations professional who understands how to keep a building running smoothly, anticipates needs before they become issues, and can manage multiple operational priorities with minimal supervision.
The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that systems, logistics, and schoolwide operations are executed efficiently and with excellence. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has a strong background in school-based operations, is a self-starter, and is comfortable taking ownership of work independently while collaborating effectively with staff, students, and families.

Job DescriptionThe Operations Manager will:School Operations & Logistics- Support the day-to-day operations of the school to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient learning environment.
- Manage and oversee operational systems related to school events, daily schedules, space usage, supplies, and internal logistics.
- Coordinate building needs, room setups, arrivals, dismissals, and other schoolwide operational functions.
- Help maintain operational calendars, trackers, and planning tools to ensure projects and priorities stay on track.
- Anticipate operational challenges and proactively implement solutions with little oversight.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of the building to ensure spaces are clean, safe, stocked, and aligned with school expectations.
- Monitor supplies and inventory and ensure timely ordering, organization, and distribution.
Family & Community Support - Serve as a professional and welcoming point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with families and community members in both English and Spanish.
- Support family-facing systems and events, ensuring families feel informed, welcomed, and supported.
- Assist with translating verbal and written communication as needed.
Staff Support & Internal Systems - Support staff with operational requests and ensure timely follow-up on needs related to space, supplies, events, and logistics.
- Create and maintain efficient systems that improve workflow, communication, and accountability across the school.
- Train and support staff on operational procedures when needed.
- Work cross-functionally with school leadership and staff to ensure smooth execution of priorities.
HoursStaff hours will be 7:30-5:00 daily, with some evenings and Saturdays required. The student academic day running from 9:00-1:00 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9:00-4:15 on other days.
Pay and BenefitsSalary: $75,000 - $90,000. We offer very competitive benefits, commensurate with experience, and great opportunities for professional and career development.

Experience and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Fluency in Spanish and English required, including the ability to communicate professionally with families and staff in both languages.
- Minimum of 3 years of school operations experience, preferably in a charter school or urban school setting.
- Strong understanding of school-based systems, logistics, compliance, and daily operational needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow through with limited supervision.
- Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems quickly, and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across students, families, staff, and external partners.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and school-based systems or operational trackers.
