Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a similar technical environment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Detailed knowledge of safe operating procedures and accident prevention rules, including familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Effective communication and administrative skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance and operational activities for hydroelectric facilities to ensure continuity of operations.
• Train team members on maintenance best practices, safety, and operational techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards through appropriate actions.
• Guide personnel during emergencies and oversee adherence to special safety procedures.
• Manage small to medium maintenance and construction projects, potentially involving contractors.
• Travel within the New York Region as required for facility oversight.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Senior Operations Manager.
