Job Description & Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to support client engagements focused on complex manufacturing operations in highly constrained, mission-critical environments. This role helps design and embed decision-support capabilities that combine quantitative rigor with operational judgment, process understanding, and digital enablement.

Decision Framing
  • Structure complex demand, supply, production, and logistics challenges as decision problems under uncertainty.
  • Evaluate trade-offs across capacity, inventory, service levels, fill rate, yield, waste, cost-to-serve, and working capital.
  • Apply the right level of analytical rigor based on decision criticality, data quality, business impact, and time constraints.


Applied Modelling, Lean Six Sigma and Operational Improvement
  • Apply quantitative and operational improvement techniques, including supply chain network design, production scheduling, line balancing, throughput and constraint analysis, OEE improvement, capacity planning, and yield/loss and waste modelling.
  • Apply knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to identify operational inefficiencies and support performance improvement opportunities.
  • Translate analytical outputs into practical manufacturing and supply chain recommendations.
  • Develop decision-ready insights that support operating model design, performance improvement, and implementation planning.


Technology & Tools
  • Embed analytics into scalable decision-support solutions and digital workflows.
  • Work with technical teams to define data flows, KPI/reporting logic, solution requirements, and integration points across systems such as ERP, MES, CMSS, WMS, and TMS, where applicable.
  • Identify and support the deployment of innovative AI-enabled solutions, including LLM-based and agentic AI use cases in manufacturing operations, with appropriate governance, explainability, and business alignment.


Team & Client Leadership
  • Lead and coach project teams, oversee work quality, and resolve delivery issues.
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders to align insights, solution design, and recommendations with business needs.
  • Communicate complex operational and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work effectively across business, operations, technology, and analytics stakeholder groups.


What You'll Bring

  • Degree in operations management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification, such as Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent, is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations improvement, digital transformation, analytics, or consulting.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience applying quantitative analysis, operational improvement, or digital solutions to supply chain, manufacturing, or complex planning problems in Consumer Products/CPG, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, or other industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge operational context and analytics.
  • Prior experience managing small teams and contributing to client-facing engagements.
  • Familiarity of enterprise platforms, system integration concepts, Ai, data architecture, and digital workflow enablement is an asset.
  • The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada

The salary range for this position is $116,100 - $166,100. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
