Operations Manager

Scottsdale, AZ

We are seeking a high-impact Operations Manager to lead end-to-end delivery for Multinational Solutions (MNS) across Property, Casualty, and Incoming lines of business. This role is accountable for operational excellence across complex cross-border programs-ensuring consistent execution, regulatory compliance, and superior service delivery at scale.

As a key leader within Underwriting Operations, you will drive performance through disciplined execution, standardized processes, and strong partnership with underwriting, global network partners, and cross-functional teams. You will lead a high-performing team while embedding a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centric delivery.

What you'll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?
  • Drives team success through hands-on leadership in staffing, performance reviews, professional growth, and operational scheduling across the teams.
  • Establishes a culture of accountability and operational excellence in concert with the Head of UW Operations.
  • Oversees task execution to ensure alignment with established service standards.
  • Ensures compliance with predetermined workflows and procedures.
  • Monitors and evaluates operational reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency, taking proactive steps to address discrepancies in areas such as data quality, reinsurance, backlog, and workflow status.
  • Reports on team progress and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making by management.
  • Build strong relationships, fosters collaboration, and partnership across underwriting, network partners, and internal functions to ensure aligned execution.
  • Provides guidance on compensation decisions and offers coaching and support to team members performance evaluations; recommends salary adjustments; coaches and mentor's staff.

You will report to the Head of Underwriting Operations - Property, Multinational, Construction & Energy

  • College degree or equivalent experience with advanced insurance study preferred.
  • Extensive insurance, leadership, and people development experience.
  • Familiar with insurance operating systems used to rate, code, track or issue insurance policies.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office tools to support daily operations and documentation.
  • Knowledge of commercial P&C insurance products and tools such as ISO, NCCI, Regulatory and other informational web sites used in the industry.
  • Strong multinational experience, with a deep understanding of domestic, global program structures, cross-border regulatory considerations, local policy requirements, and coordination across producing and network partner countries.
  • Self-motivated professional with exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills; thrives with minimal supervision.


The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD ( $109,600 - $191,700).

Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
