We are seeking an Operations Manager for our newly launched 3PL fulfillment warehouse in northern OC to be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency in logistics and inventory management, and leading a team to meet customer service standards. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements and foster a culture of operational excellence while managing vendor relationships and optimizing warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the fulfillment warehouse to ensure efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Manage logistics and inventory control, ensuring timely and effective distribution of products.
- Lead and develop warehouse teams, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service and product availability.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
- Utilize data analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive decision-making processes.
- Oversee project management for warehouse initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in operations management
- 3+ years in a 3PL warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations
- Proven experience in team leadership and staff development
- Familiarity with vendor management and customer service best practices
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Strong project management skills and experience with data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
