The Opportunity:

We are seeking an IT Operations Lead to support and coordinate technical activity across the VA FMBT ID&C team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage “End of Month” (EOM) and other cyclical source data load processes
• Manage creation and update of EOM task lists
• Monitor and report status of EOM activity to ID&C team
• Update SOP’s and related source load documentation when necessary
• Coordinate changes to Financial Management Systems (FMS) extracts with the FMS team when necessary.
• Coordinate and communicate sandbox management items, such as
• Database refreshes in ID&C Dev/Test sandboxes
• Schedule and impact related to software builds and maintenance
• Coordinate Access and Account management activity across ID&C team
• Work with other FMBT and VA project teams to coordinate ID&C activity as needed, including Operations & Maintenance (O&M), System Integrator (SI), and iFAMS Technical Operations (iTOS), FMS, or other VA technical teams if necessary
• Provide analysis of legacy FMS source data for ID&C team.
• Maintain and update technical Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for the ID&C team.
• Support operational activity in development and test environments for the ID&C team.
• Work with Configuration Management (CM) leads to assist with coordination of CM on ID&C.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Bachelors Degree and a minimum 7 years of experience
• Project Coordination experience
• Experience working within a Testing environment
