Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 9+ years or Masters degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Background in operations management for DoD or satellite programs, ideally within a DoD SAP environment.
• Proven project management skills focusing on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Experience with logistics support and evaluating vendor plans and risks.
• Knowledge of secure communication protocols for satellite operations.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities in a government/contractor setting.
• Familiarity with best practices from the Intelligence Community or DoD Satellite Program Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance for establishing an operations center for a major space system.
• Lead efforts to define capabilities and location for the operations center and support integrated logistics.
• Ensure efficient use of operating sites through daily coordination with stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for operations center leadership and ensure mission support.
• Develop and maintain facilities plans, coordinating renovations and repairs.
• Assist in managing communication networks for classified and unclassified systems.
• Facilitate communication between military and intelligence agencies as needed.
