Full Job Description
You will be the Operations Engineer - Level 2 for the Operations Team which is responsible for driving data-centric process optimization across the organization.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing operational data, identifying inefficiencies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to design and sustain data-driven solutions that improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Gather, clean, and analyze operational and financial data to detect trends, bottlenecks, and root causes; develop dashboards and KPI reports.
  • Conduct value-stream mapping and gap analysis to understand current-state operations and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
  • Develop project charters, scopes, and success criteria; apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen tools to devise solutions.
  • Support communication, training, and readiness assessments to embed new processes into daily operations.
  • Establish baseline metrics, set measurable targets, and monitor post-implementation results; conduct periodic audits to ensure sustainability.

Performs activities involving the producibility and quality of the product, and the processes that directly pertain, encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, Lean Six Sigma, test, and tool.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in operations, project management, process improvement, industrial engineering, quality, or a related function.
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, root-cause analysis, value-stream mapping, or industrial engineering principles.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.


Desired Skills

  • Simulation Experience
  • Experience analyzing operational data and translating findings into practical recommendations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher
  • Demonstrated success delivering significant cost savings, productivity improvements, cycle-time reductions, quality improvements, or capacity gains.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, process capability, control charts, hypothesis testing, regression, and measurement-system analysis.
  • Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Minitab, SQL, or equivalent applications.
  • Familiarity with automation, digital transformation, workflow technology, or business-process management systems


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
