Full Job Description
Position: Operations Engineer II - AMZ18387.10

Location: Seattle, WA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Manage an Amazon Developed project management application tool that tracks end-to-end activities from pre-installation through ramp-up.

2. Focus on maintaining and optimizing existing programs within the application tool while successfully onboarding and integrating new automation technologies.

3. Demonstrate the ability to navigate ambiguous user/customer/stakeholder requirements by breaking them down into clear, actionable steps and proposing optimal solutions.

4. Regularly meet with internal stakeholders and external vendors, both virtually and in-person, to ensure new features that the software development team release have the desired impact and that they are being designed with user/customer feedback in mind.

5. Lead daily scrum meetings and weekly sprint planning sessions to monitor application enhancement program progress, address potential blockers, and ensure timely delivery.

6. Broadcast new feature releases to the user/customers/stakeholders base on regular basis and provide necessary training required to use the application tool effectively. Take actions to maintain high user engagement.

7. As part of a product/technology deployment cycle, responsible for the successful delivery of Alpha and production units for further testing and evaluation inside our fulfillment network.

8. Work with some of the most talented engineers in the design, development, and delivery of new technologies and advanced automated systems around the globe.

9. Help integrate systems for safety, security, stability, and efficiency and participate in the full system development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and solution quality needs.

10. Domestic travel up to 75% to perform role responsibilities may be

required. 100% telecommuting permitted; work may be performed

from anywhere In the U.S

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and 3 year(s) of experience in job offered, Industrial Engineer, Logistics Engineer or a related occupation.

Experience must include:

1. 3 year(s) of experience in Data and metrics analysis, lean engineering, and industrial engineering techniques.

2. 3 year(s) of experience Excel and analytical platforms, including analyzing data using pivots and V-Lookups

3. 3 year(s) of experience in Leading projects, programs or initiatives with continually increasing scope and impact.

The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $112466 - $114900 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
