Full Job Description
ABOUT THE TEAM

The Product Operations team is responsible for maintaining the health of our deployed assets. Our core functions span everything from issue intake and triage to resolution and optimization. We do this by providing a suite of capabilities including managing customer relationships, fleet observability and monitoring, and data analytics. We work within a broader sustainment ecosystem that includes many functional teams across a business line, including Program Management, Engineering, Mission Operations, and Deployments. This team is a crucial component of ensuring customer and mission success, and plays a critical role in shaping how Anduril continues to execute its mission of providing cutting-edge capabilities to the United States and its allies.
ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Operations Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will own the data that informs strategic and day-to-day decision making within Product Operations for the various business lines we support. You will also partner with teams throughout the Global Deployments division and individual business lines to develop workflow tools and dashboards focused on surfacing the right information to help make decisions that impact product performance and user workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Build the software tooling that powers Sustainment operations-internal foundry dashboards, AI tools, and pipelines that turn raw business-system data into decision-ready insights.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and analytical systems: Design data workflows to ingest, transform, and model data from diverse sources, ensuring high data quality and accessibility. Leverage this modeled data to build tools that drive business decisions, ranging from rapid, ad hoc analysis to scalable, production-grade dashboards
  • Work deeply within our data and systems, developing a thorough understanding of how our systems across Sustainment functions (ERP, Jira, Salesforce, Foundry, etc.) interact, and translating that knowledge into reusable code, queries, and ontology models.
  • Maintain and populate key data sources: Update code repositories and ontology objects, manage schema modifications, and keep Jira configurations aligned with ongoing product, system, and data changes
  • Take full ownership of build projects, from initial requirements to deployed tools. You will tackle ambiguous projects end to end, from framing the problem to executing on a chosen solution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, computer science or an analytics engineering role with hands-on building experience.
  • Technical skills in the following: Foundry (Tableau/Power BI), dbt, Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience building data pipelines, ETL workflows, or internal tooling that other people rely on day-to-day.
  • Experience in developing and deploying workflow tools, dashboards, and reporting structures that scale beyond a single user.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter, able to find and resolve issues on your own. Don't wait to be told what to do - we want someone who we have to tell to slow down.
  • Extreme ownership and strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations - analysis, developing a solution plan, and executing in code
  • Strong communication skills to translate stakeholder asks into requirements, and requirements into shipped tools.
