The Operations Analyst plays a key support role in enabling efficient operations across Administrative Operations & Systems (AOS) and other corporate business functions by assisting with technical, process improvement, and project coordination activities. This role supports the execution and maintenance of operational processes, systems, and workflows, contributing to increased efficiency, consistency, and visibility across the organization. Working under guidance, the Operations Analyst partners with cross-functional teams to support project activities, routine system tasks, training coordination, and internal communications that help teams operate effectively and adapt to ongoing changes.
Preference for candidates with the ability to have a hybrid schedule out of Reston, VA headquarters.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Process Support- Support the execution and maintenance of operational processes and standard workflows.
- Assist with documenting procedures, workflows, and process updates to promote consistency and clarity.
- Support process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and implementing updates under guidance.
- Track routine operational activities and provide status updates to support team visibility.
- Analyze, redesign, and improve business processes to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and meet organizational goals.
Technical & Systems Support- Perform routine system and technical support tasks, including monitoring, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Support reporting and dashboard maintenance, including data validation and refresh checks.
- Assist with workflow setup, updates, and simple automation using established tools and templates.
- Support access management and system user administration activities in accordance with defined processes.
Project & Coordination Support- Support project coordination activities, including task tracking, scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
- Assist project leads with organizing materials, maintaining project artifacts, and tracking action items.
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and support follow-through on assigned deliverables.
- Develop polished, cohesive presentations/briefing materials for diverse stakeholder groups, including executive-level decision-makers.
- Escalate issues or risks as needed while operating within established guidance.
Training & Communications Support- Assist with coordinating training activities related to systems, processes, and operational updates.
- Help prepare training materials, reference documentation, and user communications.
- Support internal communications related to operational changes, system updates, and project milestones.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in an operations, analyst, project coordination, or systems support role.
- Experience supporting routine technical tasks, operational processes, or internal projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting operational or systems-related projects in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), workflow tools, or project tracking tools.
- Experience supporting training coordination or internal communications.
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$67,063.00 - $114,008.00
