Full Job Description
ROLE
As an Operations Analyst for Process & Digital, you will be the bridge between line of business operational processes and our underlying technology platforms across our North American construction business. Your mandate is to streamline business processes using our digital tools to accelerate digital transformation across procurement, equipment, and field operations, using a field first & automation focused mentality. You will combine business operational knowledge and change management expertise with a strong technical acumen (ERP, Power Platform, integrations) to design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end processes that drive efficiency, cost savings, and risk reduction to enhance the delivery of our projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate the gathering of business requirements from subject matter experts and functional leaders to support digital transformation.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, technical requirements, and configuration specs for digital solutions, including integrations (ERP & others) and Power Platform tools.
  • Specify data models, integrations, and automation logic-prioritising an automation-first approach and low-code where practical.
  • Pilot new processes in the field, collect feedback and iterate rapidly to maximize the value of our digital investments.
  • Track milestones, manage the product backlog, and keep stakeholders aligned on scope and schedule.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver hands-on sessions that drive adoption and measurable behaviour change.
  • Ensure data integrity and security align with company Data Governance & InfoSec standards
  • Work with Business Intelligence team to support digital solutions with reporting and analytics that delivers value to stakeholders.
  • Act as product owner for operations-focused digital tools, maintaining a prioritized backlog.
  • Liaise with Core IT, InfoSec, and external vendors to keep solutions secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Support ad hoc business analytics projects as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary degree in Business, Business Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Project Management or Change Management training is an asset.
Experience
  • 3-8 years in operations/process analysis, digital transformation, or digital project management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate, is an asset.
  • Experience working in a construction or industrial environment is an asset.
  • Experience with supporting internal, proprietary digital solutions (product management) is an asset.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Advanced understanding of technology solutions and analytical principles.
  • Strong self starter, able to manage multiple parallel projects.
  • Detailed knowledge and practical experience delivering solutions in an agile manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is office based and works in our permanent location in Calgary, AB. Travel to offices or project sites across North America may be required on an ad hoc basis.

The Operations Analyst, Process & Digital reports to the Business Systems Manager.
