SummaryAbout the Role: In collaboration with Director of the Department of Pediatrics the Operations Administrator implements key components of operations for the department. This includes the direction of key strategic objectives related to access, throughput, workflow efficiency, patient experience and key compliance initiatives. Responsible for managing departmental subspecialty day to day activities and associated administrative tasks to promote effective and efficient operations. In collaboration with the Director and assigned manager(s), this position oversees all business functions including, but not limited to: patient access, scheduling, revenue cycle operations, performance monitoring and reporting. This position participates in accounts receivable and payable functions. Efforts support the delivery of the highest quality, most efficient and cost-effective patient care possible in compliance with hospital policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequence, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service within the Department. When assigned serves as the acting Director in the absence of the Director.
REQUIREMENTS: - Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
- Experience: 7 plus years of related experience as a Practice Manager running multiple offices, must have supervisory experience
Salary range $90 to $105K, dependent on experience and internal equity
