Position Overview:
Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is looking to hire a systems engineer who will provide mission-focused technical and operational support for the customer environment. This position ensures systems and networks remain fully functional, secure, and optimized for real time mission execution. This role may perform configuration validation, troubleshooting, and testing to maintain readiness and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct operational engineering support to customers and site operations.
  • Responds to real-time incidents, performs diagnostics, and implements corrective actions to restore services.
  • Coordinates with network, systems, and software engineers to ensure operational alignment and secure configurations.
  • Maintains system and network operational documentation, including logs, runbooks, and after-action reports.
  • Assists in testing new software tools, mission applications, and site service updates in operational environments.
  • Performs tier-level 3 support in operational troubleshooting to isolate and resolve hardware, software, or network issues.
  • Documents incident details, root cause, and resolution steps in accordance with established processes.
  • Supports escalation to specialized engineering teams or vendors as necessary.
  • Maintains detailed records of all operational activities, incidents, and configuration changes.
  • Develops and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), test guides, and operational turnover documentation.
  • Participates in operational readiness reviews, after-action briefings, and process improvement meetings.
  • Supports deployment, configuration, and connectivity of site services across virtualized and physical nodes.
  • Evaluates and integrates emerging technologies to support customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • 6+ years of experience or equivalent education in systems, network, or operational engineering roles
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments
  • Proficiency in network troubleshooting, log analysis, and operational validation techniques.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to travel within the United States < 15% of the time
  • Must be willing to work on site five days a week
  • The ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Cyber Defense software and supporting the military/DoW
  • Power user or higher knowledge of Linux (especially using the CLI)
  • Working knowledge of any programming or scripting language
