Veralto Enterprise System Leader (VESL) - Operations is a global Operational Excellence leader responsible for deploying, sustaining, and evolving the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) across operations. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role serves as a strategic thought partner to operations leadership and helps drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through disciplined problem solving, leader standard work, visual management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
This role brings deep expertise in manufacturing and supply chain operations, with strong emphasis on material systems, operational flow, and sustainable execution. The VESL will partner closely with global operations teams to strengthen organizational capability and embed VES fundamentals into daily leadership behaviors and operational routines.
In this role, a typical day will look like:- Serve as a global leader and role model for VES Fundamentals, driving disciplined execution of daily management, visual management, standard work, problem solving, and kaizen activities across operations.
- Partner with site and functional leaders to develop and execute VES roadmaps aligned to strategic business priorities and long-term sustainability objectives.
- Reinforce VES as an integrated management system by embedding continuous improvement into daily operations and leadership practices.
- Lead and facilitate high-impact kaizen events focused on operational performance, productivity, material flow, and execution excellence.
- Conduct gemba-based assessments to identify operational challenges and guide teams through structured root-cause problem solving methodologies.
- Ensure kaizen planning, execution, sustainment, and follow-up activities are rigorous, measurable, and results-driven.
- Provide subject matter expertise in material systems design, including material movement, internal logistics, inventory strategies, supplier integration, and replenishment models.
- Coach operations and supply chain teams on pull systems, flow principles, inventory discipline, and stable production methodologies.
- Develop operational excellence capability through hands-on coaching, facilitation, formal training, and practical problem-solving support.
- Mentor emerging VES practitioners and future operational excellence leaders across the organization.
- Support VES maturity assessments and translate identified gaps into focused and executable improvement plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of Operations and site leadership teams, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable operational initiatives.
- Drive best-practice sharing across sites while tailoring approaches to varying levels of operational maturity and business context.
- Partner cross-functionally to optimize enterprise-wide operational solutions that support Ott's strategic objectives.
The essential requirements of the job include:- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 10 years of experience deploying continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence systems within operations and supply chain environments
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within manufacturing, operations, or supply chain organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in kaizen leadership, daily management systems, value stream mapping, and structured problem solving methodologies
- Strong knowledge of material systems, internal logistics, inventory management, and supplier replenishment models
- Proven operational credibility with hands-on experience driving results in manufacturing and supply chain environments
- Ability to travel globally up to 25%
It would be a plus if you also possess:- Advanced VES, DBS, or Lean.
- Experience deploying operational excellence systems across multiple sites, regions, or global organizations
- Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership
- Strong facilitation, communication, and change management skills
US ONLY:The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $142,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
