Vishay Mexico is currently seeking candidates for the position of Operational Excellence / CI Manager. This role leads Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives across the organization to improve productivity, quality, cost, and overall operational performance.

Position Location

This position is an on-site role within Vishay Mexico operations, supporting multiple manufacturing locations and leading strategic continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the deployment of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost, and operational performance.
  • Identify and prioritize process improvement, waste reduction, and resource optimization opportunities through data analysis and operational assessments.
  • Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and structured problem-solving projects across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, balanced scorecards, dashboards, and management control systems to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Lead Methods & Standards activities, including time studies, labor standards, productivity measurement, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and supporting functions to implement sustainable improvements.
  • Support operational budget performance by identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, safety, and service requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement solutions that increase capacity, reduce waste, improve capability, and support business growth.
  • Design and improve manufacturing processes, facility layouts, supply chain flows, and workplace ergonomics to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational discipline throughout the organization.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in process improvement, manufacturing operations, quality, industrial engineering, or similar operational areas within the electronics industry.
  • Experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
  • Proven experience driving productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational performance initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing organizational change.
  • Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or equivalent Continuous Improvement certification/training preferred.
