We are seeking an experienced
OpenEdge Software Developer with expertise in Progress 4GL to support and enhance our core business applications. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise systems built on the OpenEdge platform.
This is a fulltime onsite role to be based in Middletown, PA , we offer best in Industry relocation.
About the RoleHow you will contribute - Undertake the full development lifecycle of a global Progress application.
- Produce high quality software solutions within time and budget.
- Provide support of existing applications to an agreed SLA.
- Work within a team and focus on continuous improvement and learning.
- Create innovative solutions to problems.
- Facilitate and support onsite deployments of major projects.
- Other duties as assigned
Your Key Qualifications - Degree or third level qualification in IT or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to querying relational databases.
- Experience in development of successfully delivering development projects in a commercial environment.
- Working knowledge of Unix / Linux Operating System and commands.
- The ability to work under pressure and deliver to changing business demands.
- Ability to see bigger picture and understand a global application focus.
- Ability to code to standards and take direction as to general coding method.
