Full Job Description
RSNA is seeking an experienced Online Education Manager to lead the development of engaging online and blended learning experiences that help radiology professionals stay at the forefront of their field. In this role, you'll combine instructional design expertise, educational technology, project leadership, and team management to create high-quality learning programs that make a meaningful impact on healthcare worldwide.

What You'll Do

As the Online Education Manager, you'll oversee the strategy, development, and delivery of RSNA's online learning programs while ensuring an exceptional learner experience.

Lead Online Learning Programs

  • Manage the development and execution of new and existing continuing education activities based on learner needs and educational gaps.
  • Ensure programs reflect current best practices in adult learning, educational technology, and continuing medical education.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements to improve educational outcomes and learner engagement.
  • Partner with marketing teams to support promotion and growth of online education offerings.


Drive Educational Innovation

  • Serve as the department's subject matter expert for the learning management system (LMS) and other education technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to enhance the member learning experience.
  • Recommend improvements to LMS functionality, course design, and online learning interfaces.


Manage Projects and Partnerships

  • Lead content development projects from planning through implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, physician faculty, volunteers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality educational experiences.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, production schedules, quality assurance processes, and development workflows.


Lead and Develop a Team

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor Instructional Design Coordinator(s).
  • Promote the integration of adult learning principles and accreditation requirements across the team's work.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.


Ensure Quality and Compliance

  • Monitor customer feedback and learner support processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure educational activities comply with ACCME accreditation requirements and continuing education standards.
  • Maintain high standards for content quality, accuracy, and learner experience.


What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Systems Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and developing online learning and continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and their application in professional education environments.
  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and online course development.
  • Strong project and program management skills, including experience with tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
  • Experience using content authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Articulate 360 and video editing software.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising, coaching, or developing team members.
  • Experience working with ACCME-accredited continuing medical education programs.
  • Experience collaborating with volunteers and subject matter experts in a nonprofit or association environment.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and learning experiences across multiple devices and platforms.
