Full Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Process Quality Engineer is a professional who specializes in evaluating and refining manufacturing workflows to ensure products meet quality standards and performance set by the customer. This includes a focus on root cause analysis and optimization of overall production quality.

The Reliability Engineer is a professional who specializes in laboratory reliability testing to ensure equipment, systems, and software perform without failure over their intended lifespan. They test the finished products durability in simulated and extreme environments. The goal is to identify design flaws and production faults before the final products reaches the market. This includes, but not limited to ongoing reliability testing to ensure product quality is maintained.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
1. Pinpoint production inefficiencies to reduce defect rates and use analytical tools to identify root causes.
2. Works with cross-functional teams to prioritize key site projects and determine appropriate resources and timing; integrate activities using quality principles such as lean Six Sigma with Quality Management System activities such as Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Quality Improvements to assure effectiveness and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
3. Apply data analysis tools such as, but not limited to six sigma, to optimize the production line, minimize variances, and prevent non-conformance.
4. Reports significant issues or developments identified during Quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
5. Becomes proficient in the various workflow systems used at First Quality, including MES, quality data collection systems (SFC) and understands how the systems are integrated within the manufacturing line.
6. Process and SFC abnormality handling, quality abnormality data collection, cargo hold/unlock, MIL follow-up. Handle FQA SW related issues and fix SFC issue.
7. Capex list readiness and customer coordination follow-up, equipment and fixture procurement, equipment and fixture management.
8. Become proficient in the usage of environment testing chambers, vibration machines, and drop testers and how to perform requirement testing regiment as required by the customer.
9. Understand how to operate, maintain, and calibrate all REL equipment. Ensure support infrastructure is available for environmental and mechanical equipment.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or a technical field with 2 years of quality or electrical manufacturing experience required

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Three or more years in quality or manufacturing engineering strongly preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. Highly qualified candidates would have an advanced degree in Analytics and/or ASQ CQA or CQE certification, and/or Lean or Six Sigma certification
2. Experience in technical problem solving, statistical analysis, and quality auditing preferred.
3. Good quality awareness and interpersonal communication skills
4. Strong knowledge of MS-Office products
