Using your relationship management skills, you will gain an understanding of each firm's unique business needs and then partner with internal RBC resources and 3rd party vendors to ensure the best possible experience for the transitioning firm. Your client first mentality and project management experience will allow you to focus on minimizing client, advisor, firm and back office impact while delivering a seamless onboarding experience.

What will you do?
  • Lead, manage and prioritize a portfolio of on-boarding projects at various stages of implementation, each with unique business needs.

  • Serve as the business unit project leader (aka "voice of the project") and act an escalation point for issues arising within the project.
  • Apply the fundamentals of the project management framework to ensure accountability, visibility, scope, and schedule is maintained on each project.
  • Ensure overall project quality including but not limited to guaranteeing that documentation, communication, reporting, issue escalation and responsiveness is maintained at a high level.
  • Gather, organize, track and report to clients, vendors, and internal partners on project assumptions, status, dependencies and risks using a RAID based approach.
  • Collaborate with the RBC Clearing & Custody business development team to identify unique client needs and work with internal & external stakeholders to determine conversion timing / availability.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry including proven success with project management
  • Relationship management and interpersonal skills with a client first mentality.

  • Familiarity with RBC platform and technology offerings
  • Series 99 or 7 licenses
  • Previous experience in brokerage operations or other related experience
  • Experience in clearing industry or independent financial advisor space
  • Thorough understanding of asset transfer process.

What's in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.
  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program include competitive compensation and flexible benefits, such as 401(k) program with company-matching contributions, health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and paid-time off.
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.

  • Opportunities to build close relationships with clients.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $70,000-$130,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
