About The Role:The Franklin Mill is seeking and Operations Maintenance Coordinator for the Fibers and Woodyard departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the MWS (Manufacturing Work System) process for Fibers and Woodyard. The OMC is responsible for leading the MWS team and ensuring that critical work is prioritized, planned, scheduled, and executed in the most efficient way possible. Commitment to the MWS workflow is critical to success. Results will be accomplished by driving Reliability Best Practices into the daily business practices conducted within the Fibers Business Unit. In addition, the OMC will assist with the safe and efficient operation of the area. This position will have on call responsibilities on a rotating basis for operations. This position will report directly to the Fibers Business Unit Manager. Additional responsibilities listed below:
- Promote and support a safe and engaging culture
- Lead, facilitate and document daily MWS meetings
- Lead and facilitate weekly planning meetings and routine outage planning meetings
- Review, screen and approve work notifications
- Own and manage the work order backlog, including scheduling and leading quarterly backlog reviews
- Work with FLLs and APMs to ensure basic care routes are completed thoroughly and on time
- Assist departments in managing maintenance budget
- Develop daily and outage planning schedules using MS Project
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a supportive work environment
- Lead by example and ensure acceptable work practices are followed
- Own the ZES (lockout and tagout) process in the departments
- Support Reliability investigations for significant failures in the departments
- Support the departments during routine and annual shutdowns
- Fill in for the Fibers and Woodyard Area Manager(s) as needed
About You: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience in pulp/paper
- Strong commitment to safety
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and skills
- Thorough and detailed understanding of Fibers and Woodyard area processes
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SAP
