Job Overview:

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Americas Business FP&A team to analyze daily revenue flows and drivers, identify business trends and lead the forecasting process. This role will work at the intersection of finance, strategy, analytics, and business performance to support key decision-making that aligns with the firm's strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Become the team's subject matter expert on revenue transactions
  • Manage financial operations to maintain revenue integrity
  • Collaborate across finance teams and business partners to shape annual budget plans for revenue and resource capacity planning
  • Lead the monthly financial flash process, identify revenue drivers and present findings to the CFO
  • Monitor budget and understand variances against actual outcomes
  • Modernize core financial processes utilizing ChatGPT, Claude or other LLM-based tools


Experience Required:
  • BA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in a consulting, financial, or highly analytical role


Skills and Attributes:
  • Superior analytical skills, attention to detail, and well-organized
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis
  • Intellectual curiosity to seek new challenges and develop creative solutions to problems
  • Sharp communication skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels of the firm

Technical Skills:
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Must be comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data in Excel using advanced formulas. Macro knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills to synthesize and convey key findings
  • Previous experience using Tableau (or SQL, PowerBI, etc.) or a strong desire to develop these skills
  • Proficiency with GPT/LLM tools in financial analysis and automation is a plus

The applicable base salary range for this role is $89,000 to $115,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
