About the Role

The Office of the General Counsel ("OGC") Senior Analyst - Conflicts Reporting is an integral part of Latham's Office of the General Counsel. This role will be responsible for preparing and analyzing all levels of conflicts reports regarding incoming attorneys and new client business using the firm's conflicts database, Intapp Open, to be sent to attorneys, analysts, and other staff. This role will be located in either our Boston, Chicago, or New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:
  • Concentrating on analyzing complex matters and running reports efficiently for new business and laterals and supporting project requests from the Ethics Committee, Client Intake Committee, the Deputy General Counsel, and others
  • Assisting with the training and mentoring of junior staff
  • Communicating with attorneys and staff regarding conflicts check results and any missing information from the Intapp request form and validating the requirements for the conflicts check with the attorney or Attorney Support team member requesting the report
  • Taking a lead role in updating data in the conflicts database and conducting corporate research using internal and external information resources to confirm the accuracy of the information
  • Obtaining the necessary guidance from attorneys or other Conflicts staff to understand the requirements needed to properly evaluate the conflicts check (lateral candidate, potential client, potential adverse party, etc.)
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Pay Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
