Office Engineer - Transportation ConstructionLocation: Rocky Hill, CT | Full-Time | On-SiteSalary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 + Bonus + BenefitsPosition OverviewThe Office Engineer will provide project documentation, reporting, and coordination support for transportation construction projects in Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction documentation: RFIs, RFCs, submittals, drawings, contracts, and correspondence
- Track and distribute technical documents using AASHTOWare and COMPASS
- Prepare daily and weekly reports, meeting minutes, and change order logs
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and clients
- Support pay estimates and schedule updates in accordance with CTDOT procedures
- Maintain audit-ready project files
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management OR NICET Level II/III in Highway or Transportation Inspection
- Minimum 6 years' experience in construction office engineering or infrastructure documentation with field inspection experience
- CTDOT project experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
