OEM Sales RepresentativeProSource Industries is seeking an experienced OEM Sales Representative to drive new business growth within the electrical power distribution industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), this role is responsible for developing new OEM accounts, expanding existing customer relationships, and promoting ProSource's contract manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate has a proven background in selling switchgear products, understands the OEM marketplace, and has a successful history of generating new business through consultative B2B sales. This position is a key member of the Sales Department and supports the company's continued growth by identifying new business opportunities and building long-term partnerships with OEM customers.
Travel: Approximately 20-30%
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates.)
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and grow new OEM customer relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
- Identify customer needs and recommend ProSource's custom manufacturing solutions.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through quotation, negotiation, and account management.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Estimating, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver customer solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer information within the CRM.
- Represent ProSource at customer meetings, plant visits, and industry events.
- Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.
- Travel approximately 20-30% to support customer relationships and business development.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience within the electrical power distribution industry.
- Previous experience as a Sales Representative selling switchgear products.
- Experience working with manufacturers such as ABB, Eaton, Schneider Electric, Siemens, or similar.
- Experience of selling to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Strong understanding of switchgear and electrical power distribution products.
- Excellent business development and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to read customer requirements and communicate technical solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Proven ability to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
