Role Overview:This role involves configuring and supporting the Odessa (LeaseWave) platform, acting as the technical point of contact for setup, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and production support. The consultant will troubleshoot complex issues within the lease lifecycle processing, billing, and accounting, and collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into platform configurations.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure and support Odessa (LeaseWave) modules including Origination, Contracts, Billing, Assets, Accounting, and End-of-Term.
- Act as the technical SPOC for platform setup, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and production support.
- Troubleshoot complex functional/technical issues related to lease lifecycle processing, billing anomalies, and accounting postings.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and developers to translate requirements into Odessa configurations and extensions.
- Ensure platform stability, regulatory compliance, and adherence to client-specific business rules.
Required Skills:- Hands-on experience with the Odessa product (leasing, lending, or loan servicing modules).
- Domain experience in auto finance, commercial finance, or captive finance, with an understanding of loan/lease lifecycle, funding, billing, and collections.
- Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model with distributed teams across time zones.
- Ability to interpret and write SQL queries for data investigation and validation.
- Understanding of REST/SOAP API concepts for troubleshooting integration issues.
- Familiarity with incident and change management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).
- Strong client-facing communication skills; able to translate business issues into technical actions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced AMS environment.
Qualifications:- Bachelors in Computer Science or other related field.
- 5 years of experience.
Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle), including schema design, stored procedures, and query optimization in the Odessa data model.
- Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML-based data exchange), including use of tools like Postman for debugging.
- Exposure to Odessa Studio or Odessa Designer for workflow and business rule configuration.
- Understanding of captive finance business processes (OEM dealer programs, subsidy rates, floorplan, or commercial lease structures).
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation of routine support tasks.
