Context

We’re looking for a new OCS Junior Engineer in our System and Power Sector to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. 

 

As a SYSTRA US OCS Junior Engineer you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget.

Missions/Main Duties

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the OCS Design Manager
  • Contribute to the management of OCS activities under supervision.
  • Contribute to the production of OCS drawings
  • Collaborate with experienced engineer to strengthen knowledge in integration and design
  • Prepare design report and develop documents, including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates
  • Create calculation tools
  • Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate OCS designs into overall transportation infrastructure
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to validate design assumptions and ensure proper installation practices
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, standards, and best practices in all design and installation processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to overhead catenary systems
  • Contribute to the compilation and submission packages

Salary Range: $86,000-120,000, SYSTRA USA is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
